Process & Machinery:

Slab Selection: The process starts with a resin-impregnated slab. This crucial step strengthens the quartzite and prevents future staining.

Cross Cutting: The large slab is cut into strips using a bridge saw.

Tile Cutting: These strips are then cut into 12"x12" tiles on the same saw.

Calibration: Tiles pass through a calibration machine to ensure every single tile has a perfectly uniform thickness.

Finishing (Polishing or Honing):

For a honed finish, tiles are sent through a linear polishing machine equipped with a series of abrasive heads. The process is stopped at a medium grit (e.g., 400) to achieve the desired smooth, matte surface.

For a polished finish, the process continues through progressively finer grits (up to 3000+), followed by a final buffing stage to create a high-gloss, reflective surface.

Quality Control & Packaging: Each tile is inspected for defects, sorted for shade, and packed securely.
