1-2) Custom texture finishing

While the most frequently used natural stone finish for wall tiles and accent wall panels are shiny gloss polished, smooth textured surface such as matte and honed achieves more antique style looking. Some patterned procession such as splitface, brushed, tumbled, fluted, sandblast and flamed help to impress people not only by its eye catching but finger touching atmosphere.
The surface treatment creates a highly sought-after marble look appearance, particularly appealing for imitation stones like engineered marble and faux marble, aiming to mimic the look of genuine solid stone. This description also encompasses artificial marble, cultured marble, and synthetic marble shower wall applications.

1-3) Custom edge

Besides standard flat polished edge, beveled, ogee, bullnose, mitered and laminate bullnose edge are good choice for the real stone walling tiles. No matter it is at a corner or used as the junction part with other materials, such as solid wood including oak, cherry and maple or cultured marble and stainless steel.

2) Processing and Machine

Slab Inspection & Cutting: First, inspect Silver Breccia grey marble slabs for consistent veining, no cracks, and brass inlay compatibility. Use a CNC bridge saw to cut slabs into tile-sized blanks (e.g., 300x600mm, 600x600mm) with precise dimensions, avoiding waste.

Brass Inlay Preparation: Cut brass strips/filaments to match tile groove designs using a brass cutting machine. Etch grooves on marble tile surfaces via a CNC routing machine (to fit brass pieces) for neat, uniform inlay channels.

Brass Bonding: Apply high-strength stone adhesive (e.g., epoxy) to the etched grooves, then press brass inlays into place. Use a press machine for even pressure, ensuring no gaps between brass and marble; cure adhesive per specs.

Surface Finishing: For the desired texture (e.g., honed, polished), use a stone polishing machine with graded abrasives (coarse to fine). Buff brass inlays separately with a brass polishing wheel to enhance shine without damaging marble.

Edge Trimming & Calibration: Trim tile edges with an edge grinding machine to ensure straightness. Use a calibration machine to standardize tile thickness (±0.3mm) for easy installation.

Cleaning & Sealing: Wipe off adhesive/residue with a stone cleaner. Apply a marble sealer (to resist stains) and a brass protector (to prevent tarnishing) using a roller; air-dry fully.

Key Quality Checks

Slab & Brass Quality: Reject marble with hidden cracks (via light inspection) and brass with oxidation/tarnish-poor materials ruin durability.

Inlay Precision: Ensure CNC-routed grooves match brass size exactly (no loose/tight fits) to avoid brass falling off.

Dimensional Accuracy: Tiles must meet size/thickness standards; uneven tiles cause installation gaps.

Finishing Consistency: Marble surfaces should have uniform texture, and brass inlays should shine evenly (no scratches/dull spots).

Adhesive Curing: Confirm adhesive is fully cured (per time/temp guidelines) to prevent brass detachment over time.
