3. Edge Profiling (e.g., Bullnose, Pencil Round): The cut table tops are moved to a CNC Stone Router. This machine uses diamond-tipped bits that spin at high speeds to grind the sharp edge into the desired smooth, rounded profile. For a batch of 18, a CNC ensures every edge is perfectly identical.

 

 

4. Surface Grinding & Polishing: This is a multi-stage process on a Automatic Line Polisher.

 •  The tables are fixed to a line that passes under a series of rotating heads.

 •  Each head has progressively finer abrasive pads (from coarse grit to ultra-fine grit).

 •  This process sequentially grinds the surface perfectly flat and builds a deep, consistent high-gloss mirror polish.

5. Resining & Repair: Natural marble has microscopic pits. A liquid epoxy resin is applied to the polished surface, forced into any voids, and then cured. This creates a perfectly smooth, non-porous surface that is resistant to staining. The table is then lightly re-polished to remove any residue.

6. Fabrication of Bases & Final Assembly: While the tops are being polished, the bases (typically metal) are fabricated elsewhere. Metal bases are often cut with a metal laser cutter or waterjet, then welded, ground smooth, and finished (e.g., powder-coated). Finally, the polished marble top is securely attached to its base using appropriate adhesives and mechanical fasteners.

7. Final Inspection & Packaging: Each table undergoes a rigorous quality check before being packaged in custom foam-lined cardboard boxes and often within a strong wooden crate for shipment.

1. Slab Consistency: For a batch of 18, the slabs must be sourced from the same quarry lot to ensure a consistent black background and golden vein pattern across all tables.

2. Precision Nesting & Cutting: The digital layout is crucial to minimize waste and ensure each table top showcases the stone's best character. Accurate CNC cutting guarantees all 18 tables are perfectly round and identical in diameter.

3. Uniform Polish & Finish: The line polisher must be calibrated to apply even pressure across the entire surface. The polish must be consistently deep and mirror-like on every single table, with no visible lines or hazy patches between grit stages.

4. Perfect Edge Work: The CNC router must create a symmetrical, smooth profile on all edges. Any waviness or imperfection is a sign of poor quality.

5. Complete Resination: The resin must fully impregnate the stone. Incomplete resination will leave the marble vulnerable to staining from glass rings and spills.

6. Secure Assembly & Packaging: The connection between the marble top and the base must be absolutely secure to prevent movement. Robust, custom packaging is non-negotiable to prevent damage in transit.
