1-2) Custom texture finishing
While the most frequently used natural stone finish for floor tiles are shiny gloss polished, smooth textured surface such as matte and honed achieves more antique style looking. Some patterned procession such as splitface, brushed, tumbled, fluted, sandblast and flamed help to impress people not only by its eye catching but finger touching atmosphere, and anti-slip purpose.

Longer lead time: Shipping from China takes weeks (vs. days locally), delaying projects.
Higher logistics costs: Sea/air freight and import duties can add to the total expense, narrowing the price gap.
Quality uncertainty: Without on-site inspection, you may face risks like color mismatches or material defects, and returns are costly.
